Humans of Warrior Fitness • Troy •

I retired in early 2018 and wanted to return to a stronger exercise routine. Several people had recommended bootcamp but I was apprehensive about my ability. When the free week came up, I jumped in and found a great community. From August of last year I have regularly attended the 8:30 Warrior sessions and Raw on Saturday and recently I have started to attend Abs & Core as well as Suspension (TRX).
I enjoy the routine and consistency of the regular schedule but also the slight changeup in each session. Coaches have been supportive in encouraging and helping to correct my bad habits, especially when I’m tired. I look forward to a time when there is a technical training center for obstacles.
There is always lots of talk of Spartan racing so I thought I would give it a shot and ran my first event in Singapore. I was immediately hooked and signed up for the Beast and Sprint races in Johor. This year I will try to complete a trifecta in my age group and hope to put a big dent in the number of burpees I have to complete. I could not have done this without Warrior Fitness and the support of Warrior Friends.
