I first joined Warrior Fitness in March 2019 as I was curious about what Warrior can offer after joining the first Self Defense workshop. I went ahead and signed up for one-year membership on the Blue card.

Depending on my schedule and circumstances, I usually attend an average of 3 sessions on weekdays and about 3-4 sessions or sometimes 1-2 sessions on weekends, if time permits.

To be honest, experience with Warrior has been like a roller coaster ride. At times, it is just alright, other times it’s exhilarating, and at its peak, challenging! Basically, it reminds me that life is full of challenges and I have to keep running the race. I am work in progress and still learning to move forward.

I am a runner and also a hiker. I run with the mission of finishing the race and hope to win by obeying the rules. During the trainings, I submit to strict discipline. I do it so that whatever I do, it will last forever, to make it meaningful and with a purpose. I harden my body with all sorts of challenges and bring it under complete control, to keep myself ready to face anything.

Most of the handful races that I have signed up are challenges that I love to overcome and to help the society. Recently, I am venturing into competitive categories.

Everything will go well and that, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy. And I will be in good health both for the present and for the future.

In future, I hope Warrior can offer more options in terms of time and schedule flexibility and also other new programs or sessions that keep the mind intrigued and focused.
